Oriana (she/her) believes strongly in the creation of a safe, compassionate therapeutic space to help clients access emotions and safely examine parts of self that are causing pain, challenges, and difficulty. Each of us is made up of many different parts, all of which exist for a reason. By bringing awareness and understanding to wounded and struggling parts of self, we can learn what they need to heal.
Oriana views respect, curiosity, and compassion as the pillars to reconnecting with one’s sense of self through exploration of emotional, psychological, relational, and physiological distress. Her approach is client centred, trauma informed, and strengths based. Her core values are being an ally and working from an anti-oppressive framework. Any topic can be discussed in therapy, no matter how big or small. Therapy will focus on exploring emotions, accessing inner resources, creating strategies, and developing tools in support of healing and growth.
Oriana is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She completed her MEd. in Counselling Psychotherapy at the University of Toronto.
